Option A
For patients with no health insurance we offer several payment plans. 

Depending on the payment plan that best suits your financial capabilities at the time of service, you may choose from one of the following options: 

1. 60% of the total charge will be accepted as payment in full if paid at time of service.
2. You may choose to pay 50% of the total self -pay charge at the time of service and the remaining balance with in 30 days of the date of service. If the remaining balance is paid within the 30 day time period, you may still receive the self- pay discount. Our Patient Coordinators can give you those estimates at the time of service. If payment in full cannot be made within the 30 day period, you will be responsible for the full charge amount with no discounts.
3. Depending upon the charge amount for the procedure, you may elect to pay the bill in monthly installments up to 6 months. If this option is selected, the bill must be paid in full by the agreed date to protect your credit. The payment amount and number of installments are based on the total amount charged.
   
    $50-$100......... 2 payments
    $101-$200........3 payments
    $201-$300....... 4 payments
    $301-$400....... 5 payments
    $401-$500+..... 6 payments
   
   Please remember that regardless of the option selected you will be responsible for some form of payment at the time of service.
   
   
4. Care Credit Card option: For amounts owed greater than $300.00. This is a 12 month interest free credit card that must be applied for. The application is quickly processed and you should know in a matter of minutes if you are approved for this loan. Once approved this card may be used at any medical facility that accepts Care Credit as a payment option. If you already have a Care Credit card you may charge amounts owed greater than $300.00 to your card. Call-1-800-365-8295 to apply or you may apply on line at www.carecredit.com.

Option B
For our patients with high deductible insurance coverage or non-covered services we offer the following plans.

1. Payment in full at the time of service. Since you have insurance coverage, you are not   eligible for a self-pay discount; however, you will only be charged the contracted amount that Raleigh Radiology has negotiated with your carrier. Please note that this only applies to insurers under contract with Raleigh Radiology (under the "Patient Info" tab then select "Insurance Companies" to see all carriers we are contracted with). This amount would be the “Allowable Amount” supplied by the insurance company. Payment plans may be selected. The plan offered is determined by the amount owed as below.
   
    $50-$100 ...........2 payments
    $101-$200......... 3 payments
    $201-$300......... 4 payments
    $301-$400......... 5 payments
    $401-$500+........6 payments
   
   
   If you are having an MRI procedure at our facility and you fall into this category with your insurance plan a representative from Raleigh Radiology will attempt to contact you by phone prior to your appointment to discuss these options. If we are unable to contact you prior to the appointment, a staff member will discuss the options with you prior to your appointment time.
   
   
2. Care Credit Card option: For balances greater than $300.00: This is a 12 month interest free credit card that must be applied for. The application is quickly processed and you should know in a matter of minutes if you are approved for this loan. Once approved, this card may be used at any medical facility that accepts Care Credit as a payment option.
