| RALEIGH RADIOLOGY LAUNCHES SECOND GENERATION PACS FOR REFERRING PHYSICIANS
Raleigh Radiology is pleased to launch an improved PACS web-portal for referring physicians. Raleigh Radiology was the first in Wake County to introduce an office-wide outpatient PACS and web portal for referring physicians in 2004. Today, as the digital and filmless technology of Picture Archiving Communications (PACS) systems move from a novelty to a standard, Raleigh Radiology continues to advance our benefits and capabilities for both physicians and patients.
In addition to rapid report turnaround and accessibility to images, PACS has allowed Raleigh Radiology to provide subspecialty interpretations by one of our board certified, fellowship trained radiologists for many examinations. All musculoskeletal and abdominal imaging MRI exams are read by subspecialty radiologists.
Remote Access
Online access to the Raleigh Radiology PACS
allows referring physicians to view their patients’
images and report via the internet 24/7. Our
marketing team will be happy to assist you in
establishing a secure login and password.
The new Raleigh Radiology PACS requires a quick on-site visit and download. If you are interested in utilizing PACS in your practice, please verify the following system requirements and contact Dianne Jones or Jennifer Parks of the marketing team.
