Raleigh Radiology is doing its part to take care of our planet. Striving to reduce our total environmental footprint by doing the following:

• Recycle paper, plastics, and aluminum bins in our facilities
• Turn off power and lights when they are not being used
• Uitilizing energy efficient bulbs
• Recycle silver from discarded film
• Use launderable gowns
• Eliminated darkroom and chemicals by going digital in all facilities
• Fax radiology reports instead of using courier delivery
• Reduce x-ray film usage by converting physicians offices to PACS (online access to images)
• When courier service is needed, we use a hybrid automobile
• Recycle and refill ink cartridges for printers
• Recycle batteries
• Use recycled paper towels
