Raleigh Radiology Announces Leadership Transition 

September 6, 2024 Raleigh, NC—Raleigh Radiology, a leader in imaging technology and innovation, is pleased to announce a leadership transition. Effective September 4th, Dr. John Bardini was selected as President, succeeding Dr. Satish Mathan, who has served for over thirteen years as managing partner.

Dr. Bardini brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to advancing radiological practices. With a distinguished career as a Musculoskeletal Radiologist spanning 25 years, Dr. Bardini has held leadership positions throughout his tenure at Raleigh Radiology, including most recently, Medical Director of Imaging Centers. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and Rutgers Medical School and completed his residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Under the leadership of Dr. Mathan, Raleigh Radiology saw tremendous growth and advancement, including a joint venture with WakeMed hospitals and the addition of nine imaging centers throughout the triangle region. “We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Mathan for his dedicated service and leadership,” says Dr. Bardini. “Raleigh Radiology would not be where it is without his vision and execution. We are delighted that he will continue to work as a radiologist and trusted colleague in our practice.”
