Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been making headlines recently, and Dr. Jeff Browne, Medical Director at Raleigh Radiology, is eager to keep his practice at the forefront of technology. He recognizes that AI is having a significant impact on the world, and its impact on radiology is already apparent. He says, "The new data on AI is pretty compelling. Having a second pair of eyes on your mammogram to improve decision confidence and cancer detection is great for patient care. It is exciting to be part of this transformation and I am eager to leverage AI technology for in our practice.
In addition to working with the latest technology, Dr. Browne enjoys building relationships with patients, providers and staff. "Radiology is challenging but very rewarding. You need to understand many aspects of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as the imaging technology, to make an accurate diagnosis quickly. It's great to be part of team aligned with the common goal of improving our population's health."
Outside of work, Dr. Browne is a long-distance runner and aspires to complete the world marathon majors in the next five years. His personal goals are just as aspirational as his plans for Raleigh Radiology to provide cutting-edge patient care.
