CT Lung Screening
This screening can detect lung cancer early, when it’s most treatable.
Low-dose CT Lung Cancer Screening is recommended for individuals who meet the following criteria and who are at high-risk for lung cancer:
- Age 50–80
- History of smoking (20 pack-year or more)
- Current smoker or have quit within the past 15 years
- Asymptomatic
CT Lung Screening at Raleigh Radiology is self-pay, however most insurance plans cover the exam for those who meet guideline criteria. An order from a provider is required for this screening.

Submit orders online or by fax and our team will schedule your patient promptly. Walk-in patients with a signed physician order are accepted daily during imaging center hours for standard X-ray.
