Varicose Veins
Relief from Varicose Veins Starts Here

Historically, treatment of varicose veins required major surgery followed by an often lengthy recovery period. New laser applications now allow for effective treatment of varicose veins in our outpatient office with very little recovery time.
Our interventional radiologists will review your health history and symptoms to determine if varicose vein treatment is right for you during a consultation at our Midtown office.

Frequently Asked Patient Questions
What is a varicose vein treatment procedure?
Varicose Vein Treatment is a minimally invasive, image-guided procedure to relieve symptoms and improve the appearance of enlarged leg veins. It’s an outpatient procedure, so you can go home the same day.
Using techniques like EVLT, RFA, or sclerotherapy, an Interventional Radiologist closes the affected vein so blood can flow through healthier veins instead—helping reduce pain, swelling, and discomfort.
What is the recovery process and timeline?
It is a 40 to 60-minute outpatient procedure with a fast return to normal activities.
Do I need a referral for a consultation?
To schedule a consultation at our Midtown office, you do not need an order from a referring provider.
Do any of the following symptoms apply to you?
- Aching, throbbing, or heaviness in the legs
- Visible, bulging, or twisted veins
- Swelling in the lower legs or ankles
- Burning, itching, or cramping sensations
- Skin discoloration or irritation around the veins
Is a varicose vein treatment covered by insurance?
Varicose Vein treatments are reimbursable by most health insurances.
